Zero Turn Mowers
The Scag zero turns come in a wide range of size and power options. The Liberty Z is a compact pro-grade zero turn rider that’s available at a homeowner price point. Based on the amount of lawn you mow, you can choose from mower deck widths of 36, 42, 48, 52, or 61 inches. The larger, heavier Freedom Z features a deep commercial grade Hero cutting deck, speeds up to 8 mph, and a powerful deck-engagement clutch that can be adjusted for longer life. Landscaping pros love the compact heavy-duty design of the Freedom Z, and property owners who maintain larger-acreage lots appreciate its ability to do the job with powerful efficiency. Next in line is the Scag Patriot, mid-range zero turn that’s designed for low maintenance and high performance.
The larger Scag mowers, including the Tiger Cat II, the Cheetah II, and the Turf Tiger II, boast Velocity Plus mower decks, which are ultra-heavy-duty and the envy of the industry. The Velocity Plus cutter decks are available in widths up to 72 inches for efficient mowing of large expanses of grass. These powerful commercial zero turns are powerful, fast, and rock solid. All can be equipped with either a 3-bag grass catcher or a clam-shell collection system that the operator can empty without ever having to leave the driver’s seat. The All-Electric Scag EVZ
The Scag EVZ electric zero turn holds its own. The EVZ is built Scag tough, and fully capable of producing a Scag-perfect quality-of-cut with its 52-inch Scag Hero heavy-duty cutter deck. Yet it boasts all the virtues of electric power: clean, quiet operation, and minimal maintenance. No fuel filters or oil changes! The EVZ includes a full-featured display screen that allows you to easily monitor battery charge level, hours of run time, and other system diagnostics. A built-in high-capacity Vanguard Commercial Lithium Ion battery is the mower’s power source and is charged by a Vanguard 1,050-watt battery charger.
Stand-On Mowers
Scag stand-on mowers are compact, efficient, comfortable to operate, and can fit onto tight spaces on landscapers’ trailers. The Scag V-Ride II comes with an Advantage cutter deck of either 32 or 36 inches for trim mowing, or larger Velocity Plus decks of up to 61 inches. The mowing height can be easily adjusted right from the operator’s position with a spring-assisted lever. And like other Scags, the frame of the V-Ride II is made of heavy single-tube steel, maintenance areas are easy to reach, and the mower decks are controlled by adjustable, long-lasting electric clutches.
Walk-Behind Mowers
Scag walk-behind mowers are big enough to mow wide-open spaces, and agile enough for trim mowing in hard-to-reach corners. Various walk-behind models are available, including models with mowing decks up to 61 inches. You can choose between 3 different drive systems: the Scag SW has a 5-speed belt-drive Peerless transmission, the SWZ a dual hydro pump-and-motor hydrostatic drive, and the SWZT a heavy-duty hydrostatic transaxle drive system.
Blowers and Truckloaders
Along with the Scag mowers that keep lawns beautiful all across North America, Scag debris management equipment helps to keep those properties looking great year-round. Including walk-behind wheeled leaf blowers, and the stand-on hydrostatic drive Scag Windstorm, these leaf-blowing machines blow away even the hardest fall cleanup jobs. Scag truckloaders can vacuum huge piles of leaves, reduce their volume by shredding, and blow the debris onto a truck or trailer. These powerful truck loaders are available in both trailer-mounted models that can be easily towed behind a pickup, as well as in skid-mounted models that can be bolted onto your existing equipment.
Ride-On Sprayer-Spreader
Serious landscaping also requires the application of fertilizers and weed-control chemicals. Nothing does the job better than the Scag Turf Storm, a ride-on hydrostatic drive machine that includes a 220-pound hopper for dry granular chemicals, and dual 30-gallon tanks for liquid chemicals. A foam marker kit is an optional attachment that keeps you on track to prevent skips and overlaps in the application process.
